Life Skills Building

Ready to level up?

At Triple E, our aim is to establish a supportive social environment for young people with disabilities, fostering education, encouragement, and empowerment. Our sessions, held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-4pm, cover a range of vital topics such as travel training, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, laundry, and financial skills (money management, can collection, and recycling). Participants will gain valuable work experience through activities such as resume writing, car washing, making coffee, and dog walking. As well as, engage in important conversations around safety online and in the community, and consent. Together, we are committed to equipping individuals with the tools they need to thrive in their daily lives and communities.

Our program has been meticulously crafted in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, physiotherapists, music therapists, speech therapists, and experienced support workers who serve as positive role models. With a participant-to-support worker ratio of 2:1, we prioritise individualised attention and care.

Transportation to and from home, school, or alternative programs is provided, alleviating the need for additional support workers. Our hourly rates are $36.66 on Weekdays.

We understand that every individual’s journey is unique, and we are committed to supporting each participant in achieving their personal goals. Our program fosters a sense of community, where participants can form meaningful relationships, practice social skills, and develop a sense of belonging. We believe that by equipping individuals with practical life skills and work experience, we are helping them build a strong foundation for the future. Our approach empowers families by providing a trusted, supportive space where participants can grow, learn, and become more independent. We are proud to offer a program that not only teaches essential skills but also enriches lives, creating lasting positive impacts on both participants and their families.
